OUR BISTRO CONCEPT

The eatDOORI bistro stands for uncomplicated, modern Indian cuisine for everyday life. Fast, fresh and full of flavour—perfect for lunch, a relaxed dinner or take-away. At the same time, the bistro is also a place to linger: for a coffee or masala chai in the afternoon, or a glass of wine in the evening. The Design Concept – A House from the Heart of Lucknow

The Chowk House is inspired by Lucknow’s historic Chowk district – a place full of scents, voices, and stories. It’s where traders, cooks, and neighbors gather, and food becomes the heart of social life.

We translate this feeling into a space: a house of togetherness, where the warmth of the city is brought to the table. Here, it’s not just about dishes, but about encounters, conversations, and the culture of genuine hospitality.

Your advantages:

The Story – A House of Hospitality

The Chowk House tells the story of an old merchant’s house in Lucknow’s Old City. There, Farida Hussain ran her home with a simple philosophy: every guest should feel like part of the family.

Today, this idea lives on. The recipes remain, the atmosphere remains – only time has added new nuances. The Chowk House is therefore more than a restaurant. It is a promise: the doors are open as long as people want to eat together.

The Atmosphere – Market and Home at Once

At The Chowk House, the energy of a market meets the tranquility of a home. Scents, spices, and voices evoke the alleys of Lucknow, while the courtyard, arches, and warm materials create a feeling of home.

Here, street and living room, merchant culture and hospitality connect – a place where stories are just as important as the dishes on the table.
